These Saucy Chipotle Maple Baked Chicken Wings are a perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and smoky flavors. The maple syrup adds sweetness while the chipotle peppers bring a spicy kick, all complemented by the rich flavor of the baked chicken wings. This gluten-free recipe is easy to prepare and makes for a crowd-pleasing appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400F 200C

In a bowl, mix together maple syrup, minced chipotle peppers, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper

Place chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag or bowl, pour the marinade over the wings, and toss to coat evenly

Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours, for best flavor

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the marinated chicken wings in a single layer

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and crispy, flipping halfway through

Once cooked, remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes

Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro before serving

Enjoy these Saucy Chipotle Maple Baked Chicken Wings as a delicious appetizer or main dish!
